Chérie: Jewelry by Ma’amoul
Sally Boyd and I go way back to age five when she told me in the kindergarten coat closet she would be a missionary nurse in Africa one day. I supported her decision, but to be honest, prayed God wouldn’t send me there, too. 🙂 Thankfully, the Creator who knows me better than I know myself had different plans, and I ended up in Morocco on the adventure of my life. About the time Sally moved home after raising a family in Niger, I was off to teach in Africa. Through the years she inspired me with her journey–still does– so I’m so honored she wanted to create jewelry based on mine. We named the collection Chérie in the hope that women who wear these designs know they are cherished by the One who loves best and feel connected to a global, cross-generational sisterhood of seekers.
